Presidential Statement - 9 April 2026

The Presidency of the Principality of Zakistan issued an official statement expressing its deep concern over the recent escalation of violence affecting Lebanon, strongly condemning any attacks targeting civilian populations.

The Principality reaffirmed its unconditional support for the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and stability of Lebanon, emphasizing that the protection of civilians remains an absolute obligation under international law.

The Presidency stressed that international humanitarian law must be respected by all parties, at all times, recalling the fundamental responsibility to safeguard civilian lives regardless of the circumstances.

The Principality also took note of the recently announced ceasefire, welcoming the efforts of the actors involved in facilitating its implementation. It called for the ceasefire to be fully, immediately, and sustainably respected.

Furthermore, Zakistan reaffirmed its support for ongoing mediation efforts, urging their intensification in order to achieve a tangible reduction of tensions and a return to stability.

The Presidency concluded by stating that the Principality of Zakistan continues to follow developments with the utmost attention.

La Présidence de la Principauté du Zakistan a publié un communiqué exprimant sa plus vive préoccupation face à la gravité des violences récentes ayant touché le Liban, condamnant avec la plus grande fermeté toute attaque visant des populations civiles.

La Principauté réaffirme son soutien inconditionnel à la souveraineté, à l’intégrité territoriale et à la stabilité du Liban, tout en rappelant que la protection des civils constitue une obligation absolue au regard du droit international.

La Présidence souligne que le respect du droit international humanitaire s’impose à l’ensemble des parties, en toutes circonstances.

La Principauté prend également acte du cessez-le-feu annoncé, saluant les efforts des acteurs ayant contribué à sa mise en place, et appelle à son respect plein, immédiat et durable.

Elle réaffirme en outre son soutien aux initiatives de médiation en cours, appelant à leur renforcement en vue d’une désescalade effective et d’un retour à la stabilité.

La Présidence indique enfin que la Principauté du Zakistan suit la situation avec la plus grande attention.

بيان رئاسي — 9 أبريل 2026

أصدرت رئاسة الإمارة الزاكيستانية بيانًا رسميًا أعربت فيه عن قلقها البالغ إزاء خطورة أعمال العنف الأخيرة التي طالت لبنان، مدينةً بأشد العبارات أي هجمات تستهدف المدنيين.

وأكدت الإمارة الزاكيستانية دعمها الكامل لسيادة لبنان وسلامة أراضيه واستقراره، مشددة على أن حماية المدنيين تُعد التزامًا مطلقًا وفقًا للقانون الدولي.

كما شددت الرئاسة على أن احترام القانون الدولي الإنساني واجب على جميع الأطراف وفي جميع الظروف.

وأشارت إلى وقف إطلاق النار المُعلن، مرحبةً بالجهود التي ساهمت في تحقيقه، وداعيةً إلى الالتزام الكامل والفوري والمستدام به.

كما جدّدت دعمها لمختلف مبادرات الوساطة الجارية، داعيةً إلى تعزيزها بهدف تحقيق خفض فعلي للتصعيد والعودة إلى الاستقرار.

واختتم البيان بالتأكيد على أن الإمارة الزاكيستانية تتابع تطورات الوضع عن كثب وبأقصى درجات الاهتمام.
